Robert S. Brookings realized the importance of education and its role in preparing men and women for leadership. He served as president of the Washington University Board of Trustees for 33 years and gave much of his time and estate to revitalize the university and its medical school.

The Robert S. Brookings Partners giving society was created to honor and recognize those who support the mission of Washington University through estate gifts, life income plans, or other planned gifts. Members receive the Brookings Partners digital newsletter and invitations to the Brookings Partners annual luncheon and other events. In 2019–20, 40 new members joined Brookings Partners, bringing total membership to 1,038.

Please notify us if WashU is already in your will, trust, or other planned gift.
