​Net​works grouped by profession, shared interest, and culture

The Washington University Alumni Association and the Office of Alumni Relations work together to support the engagement and involvement of all our alumni. We support activities that connect alumni to one another and to the university. Many vibrant cultural, shared interest, and groups based on profession and industry, enrich student and alumni educational experiences at the university. Black Alum​ni Council

The mission of the Black Alumni Council is to support the professional and personal development of Washington University black alumni, to assist the university with the recruitment and retention of African-American students, and to enhance the continued growth and development of the university as an exemplary institution.  For more information or to get involved, email the Black Alumni Council or call (314) 935-7378.

​Washington University Pride A​lumni Network

The Washington University Pride Alumni Network (WUpan) encourages LGBTQIA alumni to provide service to the University and to further the well-being of LGBTQIA students. WUpan also facilitates fellowship and a sense of community among LGBTQIA alumni. Like WUpan on Facebook to connect with other LGBTQIA alumni. WashU Asian Alumni Network

The WashU Asian Alumni Network (WUAAN) supports Asian and Asian-American alumni.  WUAAN focuses on three primary activities: advocacy for issues relevant to the Asian and Asian-American communities affiliated with WashU— in student life or university affairs; providing ongoing opportunities for the personal and professional development of both alumni and students; and facilitating engagement with the greater Asian and Asian-American communities outside of WashU through service and philanthropy.   For more information, please email Suzanne Wagstaff or call (314) 935-5212.

WashU Engage

WashU Engage is an initiative co-led by the Gephardt Institute and the Washington University Alumni Association which aligns with the university’s commitment to supporting habits of lifelong learning. This series of civic and community engagement opportunities serves local communities and encourages alumni to engage in the cities where they live and work. During the 2017-2018 academic year, we hosted 17 WashU Engage projects across the country with more than 450 attendees. Projects addressed social issues ranging from food insecurity to disaster relief.leadership for alumni.
