COVID-19 UPDATE
Given the CDC's guidance for limiting the spread of COVID-19, we have made the difficult decision to cancel all in-person events until further notice.
 
While all in-person and on-campus events have been cancelled, the Admissions Office is offering several virtual activities for students to get to know WashU.  This site is updated on a regular basis.  Please feel free to share these opportunities with any admitted students with whom you communicate. 
 
WashU continues to closely monitor the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) and update its response on a regular basis.
 
Admitted Student Receptions allow APAP members to reconnect with the students they interviewed and to encourage students to attend Washington University in St. Louis.  They also help admitted students and their families choose WU by providing the resource of shared knowledge and experience and demonstrating how the Washington University community extends beyond four years and reaches into their hometown.  Held in early spring, these events typically take place at the homes of current parents or alumni in select cities, and are attended by alumni, current parents, current students, and admitted or enrolling students and their families.
