Reunion Challenge to the Class of 1978

In honor of your 40th Reunion, Executive Committee Co-chair Matt Seiden, AB '78, and his wife, Wendi Weill, have established a generous $150,000 Class of 1978 Reunion Challenge to increase the impact of your gift. While you may give to any area of the university to participate, Matt and Wendi will designate their matching gift to the Gephardt Institute for Civic and Community Engagement. With this gift, they are helping the Gephardt Institute advance university efforts to cultivate engaged citizens and foster thriving communities.

The Gephardt Institute's mission is to cultivate informed and actively engaged citizens by catalyzing civic engagement among students, staff, faculty, and alumni; fostering student learning, engagement, and leadership in civic life; supporting faculty excellence and impact; and serving as a university convener for campus and community groups.

By receiving a comprehensive and transformative experience through the Gephardt Institute, students will not only be able to impact St. Louis today, but also will be prepared to impact other communities tomorrow as alumni.

Class of 1978, show your Washington University spirit and participate in this challenge today!
