Olin is proud to recognize the leadership and accomplishments of our recent alumni with the
3rd annual Emerging Leader Award. We invite you to hear from the honorees and join us to
toast them, enjoy hors d’oeuvres, and network with fellow alumni and friends.

A panel discussion featuring the 2017 Distinguished Alumni Award Honorees and 
presentation of the Olin Award. Co-hosted by the Bauer Leadership Center and 
Century Club Business Series.

​Mildred Lane Kemper Art Museum Tour

Tour the Kemper Art Museum with a student docent for an in-depth exploration of several 
works from the Museum's renowned permanent collection. Participants will engage with 
one another in group discussions throughout the tour, and are encouraged to stick around
afterwards to explore the special exhibitions on their own.

​Graham Chapel Open House

The university's beloved Graham Chapel has been restored to its 1909 splendor. Take a self-guided tour of the chapel and enjoy music played by organists Ethan Schueler and 
Karen Olson.

Childcare | Bear Club: Session 1

2nd Floor, Danforth University Center

$20 Child 
The Bear Club is designed to allow alumni to enjoy their weekend while knowing that their children will be entertained and cared for by licensed and bonded temporary, professional nannies from TLC for Kids, assisted by Washington University staff and students. The Bear Club is divided into four recommended tracks to ensure age-appropriate and engaging activities for all participants.
Grizzly Bears: Ages 12-18, Ursa Bears: Ages 6-11, Cub Club: Ages 2-5, and Baby Bears: Under 2 years of age.

Olin's Distinguished Alumni Awards & Centennial Gala

Mudd Field | Knight Hall & Bauer Hall 

On Friday, April 21 the John M. Olin School of Business will recognize the 2017 Distinguished Alumni Award Honorees followed by a very special affair to commemorate
our Centennial. The evening begins with the Distinguished Alumni Awards program in a
spectacular tent on Mudd Field. Following the ceremony, guests are invited inside Knight
and Bauer Hall for a once-in-a-century Gala celebration. The Gala reception will include various entertainment, festive food stations and cocktails, a fun photo booth, and an
interactive digital exhibit showcasing Olin's rich history. The evening will conclude with a
celebratory fireworks display as we embark on Olin's second century of excellence.

​The Plan for the East End of Danforth Campus

Join Hank Webber, Executive Vice Chancellor for Administration, and learn about the 
transformation of the east end of the Danforth Campus, which will include three new 
academic buildings, an expansion of the Mildred Lane Kemper Art Museum, two multi-use
facilities, an underground parking garage and an expansive new Central Green.

Meet under the Brookings Arch

Visit some of the most memorable spots and newest spaces on campus, including 
Brookings Quadrangle, Olin's Knight and Bauer Halls, the Danforth University Center,

Join classmates and families as they gather in the Quad for a fun-filled afternoon of great

2017 marks the ten-year anniversary for the International Center for Advanced Renewable
Energy and Sustainability (I-CARES) as the hub for progressive innovations being achieved
by the Washington University community in energy, environment and sustainability. 
Please join Chancellor Mark S. Wrighton, I-CARES, and the university community to learn
more about the great work being done on campus. The event will conclude with a 
networking reception.

​Shakespeare at Olin

Hear ye, hear ye! The Bard of Avon is coming to Olin. Join us for a festive celebration of William Shakespeare's 453rd birthday, including performances of scenes from a number of Shakespearean plays, music, food, and more. This event is free and open to the public.
