Celebrating 50 years

Class Color: Gold*

We can't wait to welcome you back to campus, May 16-18, 2019, to celebrate your pinnacle 50th Reunion during Commencement Weekend! This Reunion is an extremely special time that we encourage you to participate in. Let us know if you are planning to attend today.
Your 50th Reunion is a time to reconnect with classmates and relive memories. Whether you still live in St. Louis or have moved away, this Reunion will be like none other. Numerous classmates return to Washington U. to celebrate this milestone event in their lives. You'll have a chance to catch up with friends at 50th Reunion specific gatherings on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday.

Reconnect with friends and classmates
When asked, "What made you most excited about Reunion at Commencement 2018?" a Class of 1968 alum answered "It was an outstanding event in every respect. My image of Washington University was enhanced and I reconnected with classmates I knew, and met many I didn't."
Once-in-a-lifetime events
The 50th Reunion is centered on two pinnacle events - the Medallion Ceremony and Commencement March.

Commencement March
Experience Commencement once again, but this time you will lead the procession into the Quadrangle and sit on stage! Commencement is an important and moving event in the lives of students, faculty, parents, and alumni. Many past 50th Reunion attendees look back on this event as one of their favorite experiences during Reunion. Family members and guests are welcome to attend and will have special seating during the ceremony.

A special time on campus
Commencement weekend is an extraordinary time on campus. Students and their families celebrate graduation from Washington U. and it is wonderful to be able to experience this occasion again 50 years later. Though the campus has grown and changed, this is still your Washington University.
