Reunion at Thurtene Carnival

REGISTRATION
How do I register for Reunion?
You can 
register online until Tuesday, April 9 at 12 noon CDT. After Tuesday, April 9, you can register on-site at the Welcome Center, Cocktails with Classmates, the Alumni BBQ, or your class party.

Do I need to register in advance?
You are strongly encouraged to register in advance as many events sell out before Reunion.

Will I receive a confirmation?
Yes! Approximately a week before Reunion, we'll send you a confirmation email detailing the events for which you 
have registered.

CANCELLATIONS
How do I make changes or cancel my Reunion event reservation(s)?
Please email alumnireunions@wustl.edu with the subject line: Reunion Reservation if you need to change or cancel your reservation for Reunion weekend. We ask that all cancellations are made by March 29.

How do I make changes or cancel my hotel reservation?
Contact your hotel directly to change or cancel your reservations. Some hotels have a 45-day cancellation policy.  Please refer to your hotel reservation for additional information on their cancellation policy.

REUNION IS FAMILY-FRIENDLY!
May I bring my family?
Yes! In addition to many family-friendly events offered throughout the weekend, we have extensive programming for children of all ages through Bear Club. Bear Club is designed to allow alumni to enjoy their Friday and Saturday nights knowing that their children will be entertained and cared for by licensed and bonded temporary professional nannies from TLC for Kids assisted by Washington University staff and students. Bear Club is divided into five recommended tracks to ensure age-appropriate and engaging activities for all participants. Parents can also arrange for private childcare through TLC for Kids by calling 314-725-5660 or visiting their website.

WELCOME CENTER INFORMATION
Location: Alumni House (#3 on campus map)
Hours: 
      Friday, April 12: 9:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. 
      Saturday, April 13: 7:30 a.m. - 1 p.m.; On-site registration only available from 10:30 a.m. - 1 p.m. Beginning at 11 a.m., nametags can be picked up at the Alumni BBQ.

Visit the Welcome Center to check in and receive your nametag along with necessary items for pre-registered events. Reunion Staff are also available to process on-site registrations, provide general event details, as well as answer any questions you might have. While at the Welcome Center, classmates can catch up with friends, enjoy light refreshments, or just relax in our hospitality area.

Where do I pick up my nametag on campus?
Visit the Welcome Center to check in and receive your nametag along with necessary items for pre-registered events. Nametags will also be available at Cocktails with Classmates, the Alumni BBQ, and Class Parties.

PARKING AND TRANSPORTATION
Where can I park during the weekend?
Parking will be extremely limited on campus on Friday due to the East End construction and the opening of Thurtene Carnival. We encourage you to use public transportation or carpool. Beginning Friday after 5 p.m. and all day Saturday and Sunday, guests may park in any yellow spaces on campus.

Garage Parking
Gate arm technology has been installed in all campus garages (Danforth University Garage, Millbrook Garage and Snow Way Garage). If you park in a campus garage before 5 p.m. on Friday, April 12, please park in any available visitor space. There are multiple visitor spaces in all of the garages and they are marked accordingly. You will be charged for any time parked prior to 5 p.m. However, we will have validation tickets available at the Welcome Center and at Cocktails with Classmates for you to use upon exiting the garage. When leaving on Friday evening, please locate a pay station on the floor of the garage where you parked and follow the instructions at the pay station. After you are done at the pay station, please use the initial ticket to exit the garage. If you park in any garage after 5 p.m. on Friday, all day on Saturday and Sunday, please park in any available yellow or visitor space. You will not be charged to park in the garage, but will need the ticket you pulled upon entering to exit the garage. Please keep this ticket with you as you will need this ticket in order to exit the garage.

Welcome Center 15-minute Parking
15–minute parking is available in the Alumni House parking lot. After visiting the Welcome Center, you will need to move your vehicle into another visitor space on Campus.

What transportation options are available?
Motor-coach Transportation for off-campus tours
Motor-coach transportation will be provided for all off-campus tours, such as the Little Italy Neighborhood Tour and the St. Louis Microwbrewery Tour. Some of the hotels in the Reunion room blocks may provide complimentary shuttle service. Check in advance with your hotel.

ATTIRE
What attire should I plan to wear while at Reunion?
Casual attire and comfortable shoes are recommended for the majority of Reunion weekend events. For the major events, we suggest the following attire: Cocktails with Classmates (Casual), Alumni BBQ (Casual), and Class Parties
(Business Casual).

SCHEDULE CHANGES
How will I be notified of program changes or weather-related changes during Reunion weekend?
Program changes will be listed on the Reunion at Thurtene Carnival webpage, via the Reunion Facebook page​, and on the WashUEvents Reunion Guide.

OTHER
Where can I place my personal belongings during events?
Coat checks will be available at certain events. However, we don't have an area to secure personal belongings.
