Commencement ceremony

Commencement will take place on Francis Olympic Field, rain or shine!

The university-wide ceremony on Monday, May 13, will only be moved if the weather is sufficiently threatening to endanger safety. Should this happen, the 50th Reunion Class will not participate in Commencement but will view the ceremony live from Dains Dining. You will be notified by the Alumni Association via text if there are changes to reunion events due to weather.

In the event of rain, ponchos will be available to all graduates and guests. The Commencement ceremony may be shortened.

For more information about the Commencement ceremony, visit the Commencement website.

On-campus parking

Parking will be very limited throughout the weekend due to all the Commencement activities, so please plan accordingly. Parking will be available in the Danforth University Center, Millbrook, and East End garages all day Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

For Monday, May 13th you will be asked to provide your reunion parking pass or a state-issued accessibility placard or license plate before entering the Danforth University Center (DUC) Garage. You will receive your reunion parking pass in your confirmation materials. You can also ask for one at the registration tables at any signature event.

The accessible drop-off is available in the lot in front of Simon Hall. Accessible parking and drop-off can only be accessed via Forsyth Boulevard and Olympian Way.

Valet parking will be available for the Golden Bear Gala at the Missouri Botanical Gardens.
