​Alumni Career Externship (ACE)
Program

March 11-15, 2019

Shadow an alumni professional during spring break. Externs will get an up-close sense of the types of skills, knowledge, and capabilities they will need to acquire or develop in order to be successful in a particular industry. Hosts include CEOs, CFOs, CDOs, partners, presidents, founders and others in upper-level management in the following fields: advertising, architecture, broadcasting, business, cyber security, entrepreneurship, film, finance, hospitality, human resources, investment banking, law, marketing, real estate and telecommunications. This program is co-sponsored by the Alumni Association and the Career Center.

​Reunion Internship

Assist Alumni Relations staff in planning Reunion at Thurtene Carnival (April 12 - 14, 2019) and Reunion at Commencement (May 16 - 18, 2019). Students learn about the many facets of event planning, management and execution. Our interns are vital to the success of our reunions. Interns assist in the preparation for all events in the week leading up to each Reunion weekend and have roles and responsibilities throughout each weekend. This is a paid position.

​Senior Class "How to 
Adult" Series

Learn tips to help you transition from student to alumni life through our “How to Adult” series. The Alumni Association works closely with the Senior Class Council to host this series of events in the spring semester of senior year. Past events have included the value of alumni networking, financial planning, and advice from favorite professors and administrators.
