College Fairs

Busy college fair

College Fairs provide opportunities for high school students and their families to learn more about colleges and universities.  Students may collect literature, ask questions, and join mailing lists.  College Fairs typically take place at high schools during evenings and weekends.

Staffing a fair is a great way to interact with many prospective students and to encourage them to consider WashU.  Any undergraduate alumnus/a or current parent can staff a fair.  There is no special training required and APAP will provide everything you need.

Washington University is invited to hundreds of College Fairs each year.  We are unable to staff all of them with Admissions Officers; therefore, we rely on our APAP members to represent us at these events.

How You Can Help

You will receive emails from the APAP office about staffing College Fairs in your area.  If you'd like to volunteer, simply reply to the email and let us know you are available and willing to staff a particular fair.  The APAP office will follow up with all the information you need in order to staff the fair.
