Alumni Board of Governors Chair Vincent Belusko

Message from the chair

As I begin my tenure as chair of the Alumni Board of Governors, I am excited to work with the rest of the board and university administration and staff to represent the needs of more than 156,000 Washington University alumni living and working around the world. Under the leadership of Chancellor Andrew D. Martin, the university is looking to the future with momentum and confidence, and our alumni community is invested in that future.

We are excited to partner with the Office of Alumni and Constituent Engagement as they launch a three-year strategic plan to increase alumni engagement and build on our culture of philanthropy. A highly coordinated alumni engagement program that focuses on diversity, equity, and inclusion will enable WashU Alumni Relations to organize our graduates in service to the university’s highest priorities.

We belong to a large and supportive community of alumni, students, parents, faculty, and staff who are connected by our love of the university. If you enjoy helping current WashU students or other alumni by providing career advice, mentorship, and networking opportunities, consider joining WashU CNX, the university’s new online networking and mentorship platform. You can control your level of engagement, and any level of support is of tremendous value to our students and our larger WashU community.

If you would like to reconnect in other ways, I encourage you to explore the alumni networks and volunteer opportunities available—connect with a regional network or check out the alumni events calendar. I hope you will engage with our remarkable Washington University community. Together, we can accomplish great things!

Best wishes,

Vincent Belusko, BS ’78
