This plan is a comprehensive guide for the Washington University (WashU) Alumni and Constituent Engagement team. Developing an institutional strategy will help us increase engagement and build on our culture of philanthropy to help the university reach its goals. A highly integrated and coordinated alumni engagement program that includes all university community members and focuses on diversity, equity, and inclusion will enable us to organize and mobilize WashU’s graduates and friends in service of the university’s philanthropic priorities.

Foster connections among students and recent graduates to build a foundation for lifetime engagement with WashU.

6. CULTIVATE A DIVERSE AND COMMITTED TEAM

Recruit and retain a forward-thinking Alumni and Constituent Engagement team of staff and volunteer leaders dedicated to and accountable for strategic outcomes and programmatic success.
