As we plan for the spring Reunion celebrations, our priority is to ensure that all attendees (Reunion celebrants, guests, and Washington University staff) are safe and healthy. Although distribution of the COVID-19 vaccine has begun, there is still uncertainty as to when it will be widely available. With that in mind and in consultation with public health experts, we have made the difficult decision to cancel in-person Reunion celebrations.

We know how much you and your classmates have been looking forward to gathering together on campus, and we share in your disappointment. However, your health and safety remain our top priority. This pandemic has challenged us all, but we appreciate your flexibility and understanding when it comes to the greater good.

We anticipate that the news of cancellation also sparks additional questions regarding the plans for virtual Reunion activities, your Reunion class gift and more. Visit our FAQ page for additional information.

We also encourage you to visit our Virtual Connections and Digital Resources website for a list of current virtual events offered by the university.

To learn about the university’s response to COVID-19 and how we are trying to reduce the risk to our community and to the region, please visit the Washington University Emergency Management website.

We hope that you will save the date for your rescheduled 50th Reunion celebration and plan to return to campus for Reunion at Commencement May 19-21, 2022. Until then, stay safe, be of good heart, and keep in touch.

If you have questions or concerns, please contact the Office of Alumni Relations at alumnireunions@wustl.edu or 866-988-7477.

Thank you again for all you do to contribute to our WashU mission. We appreciate your flexibility and understanding.
