Important announcement about changes to APAP
The Alumni and Parents Admission Program (A-P-A-P) is a group of Washington University undergraduate alumni and parents of current undergraduates who assist with the undergraduate admissions process. APAP members help the university recruit, enroll, and welcome talented students. The program also enables alumni and parents to make connections with one another in cities all over the world.
As an APAP volunteer, you will:
- Help raise the profile of the university by advocating for WashU and encouraging admitted students to enroll.
- Stay up-to-date on exciting university developments and undergraduate admissions efforts.
- Receive invitations to receptions with alumni, parents of current students, and admitted and enrolling students and their families.
- Network with alumni and parents all over the world.

APAP Endowed Scholarship Fund
Sally Silvers, AB ’69, former National APAP Chair, and her late husband Robert Silvers, AB ’66, established the first APAP endowed scholarship fund in 2001 in honor of Sally’s parents, Myra T. and Leroy Kopolow.
The APAP Endowed Scholarship provides support for two students annually who interviewed with APAP and received a high interview rating, show academic and extracurricular promise, and demonstrate significant unmet financial need. As an endowed fund, the APAP scholarship will provide student support in perpetuity. Your gift of any amount will bolster the university’s ability to admit and enroll outstanding students with financial need. If you would like more information, please contact APAP at (314 or 800) 935-4826.
