Our seaside hotel, Covo dei Saraceni, overlooked the beautiful scenery of Polignano a Mare and the Adriatic Sea. The various cities in Apulia gave us a taste of old world cathedrals, relics, ruins, and Trulli huts. We also enhanced our taste buds with homemade pasta and visits to a local olive mill and winery. During our free day, we played a quick round of golf at San Dominco Golf Club and later enjoyed the local cuisine and “caffe speciale.” Overall, it was an experience to remember for all the architecture, food, and friendships made with our fellow travelers.
