We are pleased to welcome Mia Campbell, coordinator of events and volunteers, to the APAP staff!
Mia comes to the team from Wichita, Kansas, where she worked at Catholic Charities-Harbor House. Mia served as the outreach advocate & volunteer coordinator working to support victims of domestic violence. Prior to Harbor House, Mia worked at her alma mater, Wichita State University, from which she received a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Arts in Criminal Justice. During her graduate studies, Mia spent time working with the Wichita Area Sexual Assault Center and ICT-SOS Human Trafficking Non-profit. She also spent many years as a big sister through Big Brothers Big Sisters and working part-time at Hallmark.
As coordinator of events and volunteers, Mia will work closely with APAP volunteers, Undergraduate Admissions, and University Advancement to plan events such as Kick-Offs, Interview Days, Summer Send-Offs, and Admitted Student Receptions. In this role, she is looking forward to partnering and building relationships with such a wide variety of players while proudly representing the WashU community.
Mia enjoys baking, spending time with family, and just recently moved to St. Louis to be with her fiancé, Spencer.
