Message from the chair
As I begin my tenure as chair of the Alumni Board of Governors, I am excited to serve as one of the voices of our alumni community and to help guide the work of the WashU Alumni Association. I am very proud to count myself among the global community of more than 150,000 WashU alumni.
Under the leadership of Chancellor Andrew D. Martin, the university’s future is bright, and our alumni community is invested in that future. WashU is preparing to launch a new strategic plan that will guide the university’s priorities over next decade. I look forward to seeing how this plan enables the university to further its mission of research, teaching, and patient care.
Alumni are a key part of the university community. We are connected by our shared love of WashU and its students. If you enjoy helping current students or other alumni by providing career advice, mentorship, and networking opportunities, please consider joining WashU CNX, the university’s online networking and mentorship platform. Your participation is of tremendous value to our students and our larger WashU community.
If you would like to connect in other ways, I encourage you to explore WashU networks and available volunteer opportunities. Or attend an upcoming event, where you can meet fellow members of our community of WashU alumni, parents, and friends. We look forward to seeing you!
Best wishes,
Lisa Rosenkranz, BSBA ’82
